Cheraw senior Jaquon Peques won his fourth consecutive state pole vault title today at Lower Richland in Hopkins during the Class AA boys makeup of the event.

 USATF South Carolina announced today the deadline for the state Junior Olympics track and field meet in Myrtle Beach is May 30.   

Complete results are posted except for the Class AA boys pole vault event, which will be scheduled for another date and location to be announced.

   Mann girls captured their fifth consecutive Class AAA team title Saturday afternoon. Lower Richland boys finished first in Class AAA team competition with three athletes. 

Day one action at the state meet is almost complete. Girls AAA pole vault is underway. Partial results are now posted from day one.

COLUMBIA -- Six records were broken Saturday at the SCISA Championships, held at Heathwood Hall in Columbia. Heathwood Hall girls won the Class AAA title with Wilson Hall taking the boys title. In Class A and AA team competitions, Spartanburg Christian tied Pee Dee Academy for the girls with Trinity Collegiate winning the boys.
