Lexington boys won the 4x1,600- and 4x800-meter relays at the ncrunners.com last chance meet in Winston Salem, N.C. this past weekend. The Wildcats four mile relay winning time of 18, minutes 38 seconds is ranked third in the nation.

The Wildcats winning team consisted of Blake White, Erik Wendt, Zach Langston, and Tony Morales.  

Lexington 4x1,600 splits: White (4:35), Wendt (4:54), Langston (4:38), Morales (4:30). 

The team of White, Wendt, Morales, and Colby Coulter won the 3200-relay in 8 minutes, 20.53 seconds.

Lexington 4x800 splits: White (2:12), Wendt (2:00), Morales (2:02), Coulter (2:04).

Daniel's Elizabeth Dawson (two-mile, 11:38.90) and North Myrtle Beach's Jeffrey Linta (pole vault, 15-3) won their respective events (Video interview with Linta). 

Morales finished third in the 800-meter run (1:59) with Erik Wendt fourth in two minutes. Colby Coulter finished fifth in the 800 (2:01) and fourth in the mile (4:33). Langston placed sixth in the 800 with a time of 2 minutes, 1.26 seconds. 

Daniel's Andre Ivankovic led the state in the two mile with a third place time of 9 minutes, 28 seconds. Hilton Head's Jack Manesiotis placed fifth in 9 minutes, 32 seconds. Morales finished sixth in 9 minutes, 34.93. 

This coming weekend marks the first weekend of outdoor invitationals in South Carolina.
