Field Event Starting Heights/Minimum Marks & Field/Heat Sizes
With the addition of the “Elementary School” division, it may be necessary to limit field and heat sizes. Entries for events may have to be closed if the numbers are getting too large. The entries will be first come first serve. Early entries will have priority.
Starting heights will be established once entries close.
All Field Events (except PV & HJ) will have 4 attempts
Minimum marks in the LJ/TJ may be established if field sizes mandate. All athletes will get at least 2 marks before the minimum mark is put into place.
Athletes must check in with the Meet Clerk or the Event Official at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. Athletes not checked in by that time will be scratched from the meet.
The Clemson Indoor Track & Field Complex has a 200m flat Mondo Super-X Performance surface with a 73 foot radius. Six 44 inch wide lanes on the oval, eight 44 inch wide lanes on the straightaway, two long jump/triple jump runways and pits, two pole vault runways and landing pits, a separate throwing cage for shot put and weight throw, and has seating or 1,800 spectators. There is also an athletic training room, restrooms and concession facilities. This facility features a second floor mezzanine for event operations.
Concessions sold at this event are the sole responsibility of Clemson University, not the event or the managing of this event. We do not control the hours of operation, food cost, or food selection. Please plan for your team’s food and beverage needs throughout the event.
Below is all new for 2014!
Only ¼ inch pyramid spikes will be allowed on the track. All spikes must be checked in at the clerking area. Any athletes that try to check in and their spikes are not ¼ inch pyramid will not be allowed to check in for their event and not permitted to check-in/run until spikes are changed.
This year we will have commemorative t-shirts for sale for $15. Cash only, exact change is appreciated!
Heat Sheets & Results
Heat sheets and event by event results will be posted online at www.Timinginc.com. You can purchase hard copies of Heat Sheets and Results for $5 per copy. Exact change is appreciated!
New for this year, we will be giving awards to the winners of each event in their specific age group. Awards can be picked up in the lobby at the packet pick up area following the posting of results.
Field Size Limits
We will closely monitor the sizes of the fields in all the events. If meet management feels any event is getting too large, we will close the event and limit its size. Based on previous year’s numbers, sprints numbers may be capped. All entries will be first come, first serve and once the size is capped, no more entries will be allowed.
Another Event Added
We will be hosting another indoor event at Clemson University on February 8th. Go to www.GreenFootEvents.com for details which will be coming soon.
