Seneca\'s LaKya Brookins finished second in the young women\'s 100-meter dash at the USATF Junior Olympic Nationals. Brookins ran a preliminary time of 11.59 and improved to 11.49 in the finals.
The meet was held in Baltimore, Md. at Morgan State University.
