The following individuals were awarded as members of Lifetime USATF South Carolina Hall of Fame:
John Blackburn, Ed Boehmke, Clyde Crimmel, Tami Dennis, Patricia Frye, John (Jack) Gilmore, Sam Kennedy, Richard Kerns, Brian McCue, Laurence (Larry) Sanders, John Snaden, Lillian Snaden, and Jack Todd.
The recipients have dedicated many years to the sport of track and field and cross country, ranging from the state, national and world level, according to Valerie Beesley, treasurer and youth chair of the association.
The association is hosting their junior olympics meet Nov. 11 at Milliken Plant in Spartanburg.
USATF S.C. is bidding to host the 2008 National Cross Country Junior Olympics.
