How did you get involved in the sport and why?
I came to Heathwood in sixth grade, wanting to try out for track in the spring, and when someone suggested I try out for cross country, I had no idea what cross country was. I went out to practice the following day and never stopped.
Do you have any family members involved in the sport?
My younger sister, Copeland, is running on the team with me. It’s her second year, and I think she enjoys it just as much as I do. It’s fun having someone else in the family running on our team.
What does it mean to be part of the Heathwood Hall team?
