What made you decide to sign with Wofford?
I signed to Wofford because it's the perfect size and it's very academically challenging. I'm also excited to run there because I really like being on a team and going to races every weekend. Wofford allows me to run and get a quality education at the same time.
Where else did you look?
I also applied to Furman, Clemson, Denver, Emory, Notre Dame, and UVA. I've been accepted to the first three so far, but I don't like them as much as Wofford.
What was the college experience like in terms of recruiting?
I received letters throughout the xc season from smaller schools for running, but none of them had any majors that I was interested in. I didn't really want to go to a school if I didn't like the academics, so I hadn't really thought too much about running in college. Then, at the state meet Coach Bomar talked to my parents about Wofford, and I went on their website, did a tour, and really liked it.
