Riverside's Will Kennedy talks Limestone decision

What made you decide to commit to Limestone?
I just really liked the coach and I was impressed by their accomplishments as a cross country team.

How did you make the final decision and who was involved?
When I got the offer I talked it over with my parents and decided that this is the college I want to run for.

What did you experience on each visit?
When I visited the campus I really liked the students, the buildings, and the staff, but nothing beats the first time you step on campus and you just know that this is the college for you.

What were your top five choices?
For running i had it narrowed down between Limestone, PC, or Newberry. If I decided not to run in college I was either going to go to Clemson or College of Charleston.

What did you learn from the experience?
I learned that when you're picking a college for sports you need to think of the long run. Like am i going to get along with the team and will i enjoy my time here at this school?

How is training?
It can be hard something especially being a senior because you know it's your last year so you give it everything you got every day, but I love it!

Any top events already preparing for the upcoming seasons?

I cannot wait to do the 1,600 meter run and I'm going to try and run the 3,200 more often.

How do you look at your time at Riverside?
I really appreciate it because Riverside challenges you to be the best you can be.

What will you miss the most?
All my friends that I've meet though out the years.

How do you want to finish out this season?
I want to give it everything I have one last time and leave it all on the course.

What would you say is the biggest memory you have?
I would have to say when the team went to Disney to race.

What do you hope to study and otherwise achieve in college?
I plan to major in biology and from there go on to be a physical therapist.

How does it feel to have the decision made prior to the outdoor season?

It's a lot of weight off my chest, but I still plan to put it the work and have a great track season.

How did the Limestone coaches react when informed?
He was very pleased and happy for me to be part of the team.
