It is a huge honor for me to run in the Shrine Bowl Ball Run. I know I am in the presence of many great runners.
What did you hear about the Shrine Bowl Run before this year?
I knew that being named to this was the equivalent of an All-Star team.
What do you hope to experience during the event?
Helping others and bringing awareness to the amazing cause. And of course making new friends from across the state.
How are you preparing to run with a football?
Many people don't know, but I played football up until my freshman year in hight school, so I am familiar with this.
How would you rate your senior season?
I would rate this season a 10! Not because of what I accomplished individually but because what me and my team accomplished together!
What future goals do you have?
I plan on running in college and continuing my career as a singer/recording artist.
Have you made the decision to compete at the next level? Please explain.
I have, but I have not completely decided on which school. I know that what ever school I choose, Ill make the right choice.
How did you get involved with the sport and when?
My coach got me to run when I was in the eighth grade for track and then he convinced me to run cross country. I grew to love it.
Do you have any relation or know someone that has attended the Shriners Hospital?
My coach talked with me about it and shared with me what they did. He is a big proponent of it.
How have you seen the sport change in the state? Please explain.
I think it has grown over the years and know it will continue.
What was your motivation for your final XC season?
I wanted me and my team to do better than we ever had.
If there is one thing in the world you could do, what would it be and why?
I would love to help others who are feeling bad about themselves to show them that someone cares.
