What was your most memorable race/competition?
The Bojangles' track meet where I was competing against the "best of the best" high school athletes along the east coast.

Out of all your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most?
Being able to say that I am going to college as a scholarship student-athlete.

If you could do it all over again, what would you change about your athletic career in high school?
I would work harder and take advantage of working more during my down times of the year.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
Overcoming leg tiredness and injury.  I am motivated to push myself and keep on going, but my body at times can't handle the overload. I have to realize that rest is necessary at times.

What will you miss the most?
The high school atmosphere and teammates.

Do you have any advice for younger athletes?
Don't ever take your high school days for granted. It flies by! Every day that you work on your craft matters, but days that you don't will be regretted and missed.

How have your coaches influenced your performances and your life goals?
They have influenced me greatly. I wouldn't be able to stay focused is my coaches hadn't stayed on my case.

What kind of impact did your family have on your time as a high school student-athlete?
Everything that I accomplished reaches back to the foundation of my parents.

What are your
college or post-high school plans?
I will compete with Limestone College and get an education degree to become a math teacher.

What do you hope to achieve after high school?
I want to continue to improve as an athlete, but more importantly as a person and student.  I want to reach my goal of becoming a coach and math teacher.

Do you see yourself coaching in the future? Please explain and if so, what level and why?
Yes, I would love to return and teach young athletes. I like the middle school level because that is where they are just beginning to compete. I would like to catch them before their high school career starts to instill the qualities and commitment that it takes to reach their goals.

Shout-outs?
To all my coaches: Micah Roberts, Ashley Enwright, Adrian DesChamps, Chaquita Owens, Johnny & Okoye.

If there is one thing in the world you could do, what would it be and why?
Change the world! It's time to change the world!
