What was your most memorable race/competition?
Junior year, our regional race was one of my worst races of the year and I was pretty upset with my placement but I kept racing through to the end. We managed to win the point and I was the sixth place tie breaker.

How have you handled the suspension of the 2020 outdoor season?
I am not able to run track considering that I attend a different school then the one that I run at, but I did have some races planned and I am bummed I will miss them.

Out of all your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most?
I managed to run a 100 mile race in under 24 hours and I wouldn't have been able to deal with the pain if it hadn't been for all of the training that my coaches had worked on with our team through my four seasons of cross country.

If you could do it all over again, what would you change about your athletic career in high school?
I would try and redo my sophomore year and try to focus on building my strength and not just work on miles.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
I had to learn how to deal with pain and be able to understand how to push through pain.

What will you miss the most?
I will miss being with the team.

Do you have any advice for younger athletes?
Be patient and don't try to overwork yourself to fast.

How have your coaches influenced your performances and your life goals?
They have changed what I believe is possible in terms of endurance and I feel it has shifted my ability to see what I really can achieve.

What kind of impact did your family have on your time as a high school student-athlete?
They have always been extremely supportive, and they have also been key to making sure that I stay dedicated to running and other commitments I have made.

What are your college or post-high school plans?
I am going to be attending and running at Wofford College where I hope to major in environmental studies and minor in biology.

What do you hope to achieve after high school?
Receive a degree in environmental studies and I hope to use that degree to become an environmental protection specialist.

Do you see yourself coaching in the future? Please explain and if so, what level and why?
I hope to be able to coach for ultra running and marathons. I want to be able to work with individuals who are passionate about pushing there mental boundaries to see what is really possible for them.

I would like to shout-out my coaches and my parents for helping me push through hard spots to help me try and achieve at the highest level I can.

If there is one thing in the world you could do, what would it be and why?
I want to be able to run the Western States 100, it is a bucket list race for me and I really want to be able to race it at some point in the future.
