How have you handled the suspension of the 2020 outdoor season?
I have handled it pretty well. I have been running to stay in shape and I have stayed in touch with some people I run against along with my new teammates.

Out of all your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most?
Winning our region this year in cross country. It was a long road to get there after a huge rebuild my sophomore and junior season. But as my coach says, Rebuild and Reload and that's what we have been going by.

If you could do it all over again, what would you change about your athletic career in high school?
Not running my whole Junior year in cross county. That hurt me more with getting back into shape with track and it hurt my times, my team and me getting recruited.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
Having young teams and showing them that the work will pay off, in the end, you just have to put it in.

What will you miss the most?
I will miss my team and also everyone that you are able to meet at track and cross country meets

Do you have any advice for younger athletes?
Put in the work and you will get the best outcome for you and your team.

How have your coaches influenced your performances and your life goals?
They have taught me to not stop working your hardest and you might not be the best at what you do now but if you keep putting in the effort you will get there.

What kind of impact did your family have on your time as a high school student-athlete?
My family was at every single meet support me and my team every weekend and my dad has also helped officiate at Bojangles once.

What are your college or post-high school plans?
I plan to run at Francis Marion and study Environmental Biology for two years and then transfer somewhere to hopefully fun but to study Meteorology.

What do you hope to achieve after high school?
Just all the goals I have set for myself and to help my team in the best way I can.

Do you see yourself coaching in the future? Please explain and if so, what level and why?
I can see myself coaching eventually. It would be at the high school level and  I would want to help point kids in the right direction and help them out any way I can.

Shout-outs?
Coach K for being with me for four years. Coach Stack for showing me that hard work will pay off, you just have to keep putting it in. And all of the people who ran with me who have graduated and who are still in school. They have all taught me a lot.

If there is one thing in the world you could do, what would it be and why?
I've always wanted to study weather and tell people about it so it would have to be Meteorology.
