What was your most memorable race/competition?
In middle school, I beat a girl by .01 seconds at state, after catching up to her in the last few 100 meters. 2018 and 2019 State meets were very memorable as well.
How have you handled the suspension of the 2020 outdoor season?
I have been keeping in contact with my teammates, running in my neighborhood, and been able to have an online 'practice' with the team thanks to our coach :).
Out of all your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most?
Being a part of the 2018 and 2019 SDS girls teams.
If you could do it all over again, what would you change about your athletic career in high school?
More time with the team.
What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
Losing team members, coaches, and rebuilding. Spraining my ankle before 2019 region.
What will you miss the most?
My teammates.
Do you have any advice for younger athletes?
Stick with cross country and track.
How have your coaches influenced your performances and your life goals?
They have helped me grow as a runner and accomplish my goals.
What kind of impact did your family have on your time as a high school student-athlete?
They impacted it a lot since they let me try different things and take on new challenges.
What are your college or post-high school plans?
I am going to attend the United States Naval Academy.
