What was your most memorable race/competition?
The most memorable meet for me was the Hickman Relays.

How did you handle the suspension of the 2020 outdoor season?
The suspension of this season has hit me hard. What keeps me going is knowing that I can still run in college.

Out of all your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most?
My high school accomplishment that stands out the most is my 5K time. I was able to improve a lot my senior year.

If you could do it all over again, what would you change about your athletic career in high school?
If I could start over my athletic career in high school, I would've started running sooner. I started running my junior year and I regret not starting sooner.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
The most difficult obstacle for me has been feeling like I'm not good enough. I never want to let my team or my family down.

What will you miss the most?
The thing that I will miss the most is the sense of community that the team gave me.

Do you have any advice for younger athletes?
My advice to the younger athletes is that whenever you have a bad day, bad race, or a bad practice, don't let it get you down. Acknowledge your weaknesses and use them to make you stronger.

How have your coaches influenced your performances and your life goals?
My coaches have influenced my performances by always encouraging me.

What kind of impact did your family have on your time as a high school student-athlete?
My family has always been supportive of me being an athlete and has always been proud of me, they helped me to not give up when I've had bad days.

What are your college or post-high school plans?
In college I plan to run on the cross country team and the track team at Converse College.

What do you hope to achieve after high school?
After high school and after college I want become a police officer.
