Eighth grade runners Jackson Tuck of the Greenville Hurricanes and Jalyssa Martin of Wade Hampton are this week's rising stars.
Tuck recently finished sixth in the 800-meter run of the Frank Kleckner Invitational in 2:15.59 - a top time for eighth graders in the state and 12th in the nation.
