The South Carolina Track and Cross Country Coaches Associated released recently the class of 2023 Sharonda Coleman-Singleton Scholarship application and deadline.
Each school may nominate one track and field or cross country athlete of the class of 2023. The athlete must have competed in one or both seasons (cross country and track and field) this school year to be eligible, according to the announcement.
Coach Coleman-Singleton was killed in the shooting at Emanuel AME church in downtown Charleston on June 17, 2015.
The deadline is April 24 at 11:59 p.m. and must be submitted by a coach.
