Watch: Up & Over - Sandi Morris & Katie Ferrara New Song

Sandi Morris, a Greenville High School alumna, recently released her first song - Up & Over - Sandi Morris and Katie Ferrara. Watch the video below.

The video summary says, "An uplifting song co-created by singer/songwriter/performer Katie Ferrara and myself, Olympic pole vaulter Sandi Morris. I am elated to share this song with you. It tells the story of the trials and tribulations of my career, but I do hope the words uplift you against whatever life obstacles you may be facing. My deepest thanks to the amazing Katie Ferarra, and co-writers and producers Bob Brisco and Patrick Joesph and video creator Katya Shalayeva. None of this would have come to creation without them."

Morris sat down recently with Town Magazine for a question and answer interview. See that interview below the video.

The 31-year-old is a two-time world champion, holds the U.S. Indoor Pole Vault record (16 feet, 3 inches) and won a silver medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Later this month, she'll compete to qualify for her third Olympic Games. She took time out of training to talk with TOWN about her thrilling victories, lasting lessons, and big plans.
