Greenville alumna Sandi Morris announced with University of Louisville Track and Field she has joined the track and field program as a volunteer and will train with coach Brooke Rasnick, assistant in charge of pole vault.
The post said, "adding one of the best pole vaulters in world history to our staff Welcome to The Ville, Sandi."
Morris posted to her Instagram story, "I'm excited to continue my training with Coach Brooke Rasnick at Louisville." She added, "and I will be helping with the collegians in all ways possible."
Morris finished first in the pole vault preliminaries at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials (4.5m) and fourth in the finals (4.68m).
