West Florence's Kaleb Burroughs broke the 800-meter state record of 1:52 by Terrence Herrington of Hartsville during Friday's SCHSL AAAAA Division 2 State Track and Field Championships at Spring Valley. Harrington ran the 1:52 in 1984.
