MileSplit SC features Hampton County's Boston Pauls in this week's future stars feature. Pauls, a seventh grade distance runner in his first cross country season, has a personal best of 19:03.05 after the 2025 Trojan Country Invitational (27th).
Pauls started the season with a 20:08 5,000-meter run at the Skyhawk Invitational on the campus of Hammond School in Columbia. The Hurricane is currently ranked seventh in 2025 South Carolina class of 2031 cross country.
The class of 2031 runner is 34th on the Hampton County team history cross country rankings list.
