A season and personal best of 17:04.72, Colizzi says Schallenberger handled the transition of a move well.

"Logan is a great kid.  He moved to the Charleston area this summer from Japan.  He is part of a military family. He has shown great improvement over the last month.  He has the desire to become a great runner and he works extremely hard at practice so that he can obtain that goal.  He gives us 100% every day at practice and he comes in before school for our morning lift. Being new to a team can be a tough transition but Logan has handled it very well.  He has made many friends on the team.  His teammates admire his work ethic and he improvement he has shown. His future is bright in the sport of cross country. In just one month he has dropped his time from 19:18 to 17:04.  This weekend he will be running at Starlight (rescheduled to Oct. 18) we expect that time to drop even more.  By the end of the season, I can see him finishing in the top three on the team." - Tony Colizzi, Bishop England head cross country coach
