MileSplit SC Future Stars: Bluffton's Kaylee Degirmenci

Bluffton's Kaylee Degirmenci is the number two runner for the Bobcats after her four cross country meets. 

The Bobcat has a personal best of 18:32 in the 5,000-meter run at the Beaufort County Championships (third place).

Bluffton girls cross country coach Dale Smith said Degirmenci is eager to learn, grow and contribute - bringing a fresh and youthful energy to the team.

"Kaylee has brought a fresh and youthful energy to our team. She demonstrates a clear respect for the history and foundation of the program, while also embracing opportunities to push it forward. Her drive to improve-both personally and with her teammates-is evident. Degirmenci is currently ranked 13th for the 2025 South Carolina cross country season.
