Shrine Bowl Run applications released, deadline Nov. 10
The deadline for seniors looking to enter for a chance to participate in the 2025 Shrine Bowl Run (Dec. 20) is Nov. 10. The SCTCCCA shared details to South Carolina cross country coaches how to enter. Larry Clark of Powdersville is the head Shrine Bowl Run coach. J.L. Mann's Evan Jones is the assistant Shrine Bowl Run coach.

Mauldin boys cross country SCTCCCA Bob Jenkins Coaches Classic update
The Mauldin Mavericks boys cross country team finished the team's first top 10 finish in the meet in over a decade - including a fourth place finish amongst Class AAAAA - Division I cross country teams, according to boys cross country coach Nate Watson.
The team saw 14 course personal bests - average 52 seconds per runner with a few lifetime personal bests. "We had 15 guys in front of our varsity number seven at the Coaches Classic last year - six of which are seventh-ninth graders," said Watson.
Sept. 28 Riverwalk Academy update: School records at Hare and Hounds
We had two athletes set school records at Hare and Hounds at McAlpine Park. Emme Herring, a sophomore ran a 21:46 and Hunter Willis for the boys (a freshman) ran 17:04.
