Gamecock Freshman Amberly Nesbitt Posts 60-Meter NCAA Provisional Time

USC Freshman Amberly Nesbitt, a 2004 graduate of JL Mann High School tied the second fastest time of the day at the SEC Championships in the 60-meter preliminaries, with a NCAA provisional time of 7.31. Nesbitt finished third, according to results.

Nesbitt\'s time also tied the school\'s second fastest 60-mteer indoor time set by former Gamecock and 2004 Athens Olympian Aileen Bailey in 2003 (uscsports.com).

The final day of competition starts at 9 a.m. (CST) with the women\'s weight throw. The women\'s 60-meter finals begins at 1:05 p.m. (CST).
