The second Annual Father Kelly Classic Meet will take place Saturday at Bishop England High School in Charleston.
The invite is being held early in the track and field season this year, as it was held at the end of March last year. This year the meet is the first week of track meets and is the same weekend as three other relay meets, making the Father Kelly Classic the only invite of the weekend and the first of the season.
Bishop England is set to host the 2A Lower State meet later this season, giving the teams that are in the qualifier a chance this Saturday to experience the track atmosphere this Saturday with the Father Kelly Classic.
The following schools are set to hit the track Saturday: Cheraw, Chesterfield, Ashley Hall, Wando, Summerville, James Island, Carver's Bay, Wilson Hall (boys), and Stall.
On the boy's side, Summerville will try to defend their title from last year. James Island will try to battle them to improve their third place finish from last year.
