scrunners: What made you decide on signing with USC Upstate?
frye: I have always wanted to go to Upstate since about ninth grade. My dad went there and was All-American for Upstate and I would love to follow his footsteps and do the same. I love it there, the campus is great, and I didn’t really want to go anywhere that far from home.

scrunners: What stood out?
frye: The campus was a really big reason why I wanted to go, it has grown a lot over the years and I think is just right for me, not to big, not to small.

scrunners: How were the visits that you made?
frye: I didn’t really take any visits there because I live 15 minutes from the campus so I have frye: been there plenty of times. Also I run around the campus all the time so I already knew what it was like.
