Lexington distance runner Josh Voegele: "RunningLane was a great experience. All the athletes were excited to be there and ready to compete. This was my first big national level meet, so there was a little pressure going in. But I trusted in my training and believed that God would give me the strength to run two more laps and give it my all. The atmosphere as well helped get me and the other athletes ready to run fast, with all the cheering. I'm excited about my performance and glad to see what God has planned out for me in my future."

Lexington coach Jeremy Lewis: "This is our first trip to RunningLane and it has been an incredible experience. It has been amazing to see, connect and support so many South Carolinian coaches and athletes. The race atmosphere is incredible and truly helps these athletes reach their best. Josh has been working hard all season and while our focus was largely on the 1600-meter run early in the season, this shift to the 800m has be fun for him. Finding races with this many guys sub 1:55 is hard. With every guy under 1:53 in the last two sections, we knew the pace was going to be hot. He has grown so much in confidence racing in meets like Dorman Distance Carnival, All American, and Carolina Distance Carnival that I knew when I saw him run down the home stretch during introductions that he was going to have a special race."
