What made you decide to commit to Georgetown?

 

There were a lot of factors I took into account with choosing to commit to Georgetown. I chose Georgetown because it was one of my top schools and they have a really strong long sprints/mid distance/distance team and thats what the school focuses on. I really liked the campus, the team, and they have great coaches! 

Ahmed Bile, the guy who won the open 800 at High School New Balance Outdoor Nationals 2012 is a freshman at Georgetown. He'll be a great training partner and I imagine we'll have some really good relay teams these next few years. The team is really young and the coaches have done a great job recruiting a lot of other runners with some serious talent to build a strong team that can compete with any college in the country.
