College signings

What made you decide to commit to Furman?
When you have three great unique college choices deciding on only one can be quite hard. I expected to be able to knock out one choice by going on official visits to all of the schools, but soon realized that it just made it harder to chose because I liked all my choices. I visited N.C. State, Clemson, and Furman. I chose Furman because I felt that long term it was the best school for me. It will provide great opportunities to turn my dreams into possible realities both athletically and academically.

What did you learn from the experience? 
Even though at times the college recruiting process can be stressful, it was also really neat and exciting! I am so glad I had the opportunity to go through it! College visits were awesome because you got to meet new runners and see schools from a different perspective. Enjoyed all of my visits and could not have decided on a college based solely on them!
