Pelican Rapids-The streaks continued for the Perham Yellowjacket cross country running teams on Oct. 7 at the Birchwood Golf Course in Pelican Rapids, Minn. The Yellowjacket boys stretched their Heart O’ Lakes Conference winning streak to 13, while the girls won their 11th straight conference title.... (via Perham Focus)

Stillwater and White Bear Lake come into the Alexandria Lions Meet of Champions ranked 3rd and 6th respectively. But, based on our virtual meet below, Chanhassen may have an opportunity to sneak in as one of the top 3 teams on Saturday. Even with Stillwater's Krahn potentially out for the season, the team has depth that should propel them to a first place finish. Stillwater's Hesse-Withbro is coming off a 26th place finish in the Griak Boys Gold race; Lundstsrom charged to a 1st place finish at the Milaca MegaMeet.
With 5 of the top ranked Class AA runners racing, and 3 others receiving votes in the coach's polls, Saturday's meet should provide spectators with a great preview of the state's top female runners.
