Race information
Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome to join the Bruins’ Cross Country team on Saturday October 26th at 9:00 AM for a 5K RUN/WALK, 5K TEAM RELAY (3 person teams, 1 mile per person in the 5K) and a KIDS FUN RUN! The race will be on the official 5K course of the LHS Bruins, which begins and ends at Lancaster Memorial Stadium.
Date: October 26th, 2013
Start Time: 9:00 AM for the ¼ Mile Kids Fun Run (ages 10 & under). Kids will run 1 lap around the football field. All
participants in the Kids Fun Run will receive a LHS Bruins rubber wristband/bracelet.
9:15 AM for the 5K Run/Walk and 5K Team Relay (3 person teams, 1 mile per person). All participants in the 5K will receive a t-shirt and a bib race number. All ages and abilities welcome.
**Be sure to come early in order to register and get your race materials.**
Entry Fee: $10 for adults (over 18), $5 for kids (18 & under). Cash or check (make checks out to LHS Booster Club)
**If you wait to register the day of, price will be $20 for adults, $10 for kids.**
Prizes: Awards for top 3 male & female finishers & random prize drawings. Post-race refreshments & music included.

Please Read and Sign: In consideration of my entry, I, intending to be legally bound for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, do hereby release and discharge, Lancaster High School, any and all volunteers, sponsors and staff from any and all liability arising from any illness, injury, or damages I may suffer as a result of participation in the Run with the Bruins 5K Fundraiser Event. I provide and certify my compliance by my signature below. If participant is under 18 years old, I certify by my signature that he or she has permission to participate, is in good physical condition, and that officials may authorize emergency medical treatment in the event of injury or illness. I understand that there is no refund due to me for any reason. This release and waiver extends to all claims of every kind whatsoever, foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown.
