Location: Anderson Sports and Entertainment Cross Country Course
High School boys begin at 8:30
High School girls begin at 9:00
Race Format: Each relay team will consist of 5 member s. Each member will run a 3k leg on our cross country course, with the last leg being assigned a hip number to wear. Coaches you may enter as many relay teams as you would like, but only the top 8 overall in each race will be recorded.
Tent Setup- Tents must be setup at the upper soccer fields. Restrooms will be available too.
Awards- Awards will be given to the top 8 in each race. Batons will be awarded to 1st through 3rd place and ribbons given to 4th through 8th place.
Entry Fee: $5 dollars for each team. 5 or more teams/$25 for boys or girls. $50 total athletes. Please email Brent Jackson (brentjackson@anderson5.net) . In the email let me know how many relay teams you will be bringing with you. Please make out all checks to T.L. Hanna High School. Please let us know by August 27, 2014.
Directions to Anderson Civic Center:
3027 MLK Jr. Blvd. (formerly Mall Road) Anderson, South Carolina, 29625 From Interstate 85:
Take Exit 19-A toward Anderson, and travel on Clemson Blvd. heading toward downtown Anderson.
Travel approximately 2 miles.
Turn right onto Civic Center Blvd.
Travel approximately 1 mile until Civic Center Blvd. ends at the first and only traffic signal.
Turn right onto MKL Jr. Blvd. (formerly known as Mall Road).
The Civic Center of Anderson will be seen immediately on the right.
Travel to the first traffic signal.
Turn right at the traffic signal onto Camson Road.
Take the second right onto Freedom Way. You will pass a pond and playground on your left. The first soccer fields on the left will be the team tent setup.
