Entries: Entries are listed below for the number participants in each event. Entry fee is $100 ($60 for girls or boys only).
To enter individual athletes: $10.00 per athlete. Entries need to be completed on http://sc.milesplit.com by Wednesday April 16, 2015
Detailed Schedule will be sent out later on. There will be a coaches meeting at 9:00 with the first event starting at 9:30. Below is a list of events:
Varsity Relays-1 boys’ and girls’ team per school
4x800
4 X 100
4 X 200
4 X 400
Mile Medley Relay (200, 200, 400, 800)
Sprint Medley Relay (100, 100, 200, 400)
Distance Medley Relay (800, 400, 1200, 1600)
Shuttle Hurdle Relay
JV Relays-1 Boys’s and 1 girls’ team per school (not required to put in JV teams)
4x800
Mile Medley Relay
2 per field event (results will be combined):
High Jump
Long Jump
Triple Jump
Shot Put
Discus
Pole Vault
1 per event: Boys & Girls 100m and 1600m
The Shuttle Hurdle Relay will consist of three flights of hurdles. In the boys race the hurdles will be set at 39” for the first and third flights and at 36 for the second flight. The girls hurdles will be set at 33” for the first and third flights and at 30” for the second flight
Awards: will be given for each event to the top 3 finishers. Trophies will be given to the top 3 teams and the top overall boys’ and girls’ team.
Concessions will be open and the opportunity to purchase Spring Fever Classic t-shirts. Coaches will receive 4 tickets for free lunch
We also have JV Relays for the younger kids to participate in. Many JV athletes are not able to compete in the Relay Style meets so we want to give them an opportunity to do so.
