Meet information
Palmetto State Cross Country Festival on Saturday, September 5th, 2015.
The meet will provide an excellent opportunity for all levels of competition
on a true and enjoyable cross country course to start your season.
The course is a variation of grass fields and wooded trails. The course
provides some rolling hills and wide trails, great for competition!
Times:
7:30am - Open Race 5k
8:30am - High School Girl’s 5k
9:15am - High School Boy’s 5k
10:00am - College Women’s 5k
10:45pm - College Men’s 5k
Entry and Scoring:
Open Race - $30 early registration, $35 late
registration
College/High School - $100 per gender or
$200 per school
There is no limit to the number of entrants per
school. We will have bib numbers and scores will
be posted no more than 30 minutes after the
race.
Entry deadline is Monday, August 24th.
Facility:
There are locker rooms
available in the Moore
Fitness Center on
campus. We will also
have Athletic Trainers
for the meet.
Parking:
Parking is available at Pine View
Apartments or along the hillside looking
over the Athletics Field where the
start/finish is.
Directions:
Off I-20
Take exit 68 for Monticello Rd toward Jenkinsville
Head North on Monticello Rd
CIU is on your left about 2 miles up
Follow signs through campus to the race
