Schedule of Events
8:30 AM – Coaches Meeting – This is not a scratch meeting, teams will be scratched if they don’t check in by the second call. To help this meet go smoothly, we will need each school to run a field event. We will provide helpers for you.
9:00 AM – Field Events
All field events will be the combined score of 3 participants – You may enter 4 in each field event
Opposite gender will begin warm ups and competition upon conclusion of previous competition.
Boys Shot Put (3 Throws per athlete)
Girls Disc (3 Throws per athlete)
Boys Pole Vault (Starting Height – Girls 6’/Boys 7’)
Girls High Jump
Boys Long Jump (3 Jumps per athlete)
Girls Triple Jump (3 Jumps per athlete)
9:00 AM – Running Events (Rolling Schedule)
Girls followed by Boys
4x100M
4x1600M
Sprint Medley (100-100-200-400)
4 x 100M Shuttle Hurdles
4 x 110M Shuttle Hurdles
4x800M Relay
4x200M Relay
Throwers 4x100M Relay (Throwers Only)
Distance Medley (800-400-1200-1600)
4x400M Relay
Trophies will be awarded to the top boys and girls teams.
Awards will be given to the top three teams in each race. The type of awards will depend upon our sponsors.
Entry Fee – $75 (this is for boys and girls combined - $40 if you are only bring one team)
Payment must be submitted prior to competing in the event.
Athletes may be entered in no more than four (4) events
We will not be seeding the races. Lane assignments will be assigned on a rotation.
We will send out a heat sheet a couple days before the event via email.
Make Checks payable to Darlington High School – Make sure the name of your High School is on the check.
