Enter at www.carolinaxc.com.  Entry Deadline is 11:59 pm Sunday October 22nd.  Those not meeting the deadline will have to get approval from the SC High School League to enter and may be fined for late entry.  You may enter 7 athletes, but may change names from any on your eligibility up to 15 minutes before the race.  Please fill out the runner exchange form in your packet and return it to the scoring table (Eric Cummings-Riverside HS).

10:25 - Woodmont Open - Open to any runner (1A – 5A students, parents, coaches and fans) that is not competing in the other races, parents, siblings, coaches, etc.  It is free, after entry to the school parking.  You must sign up and receive a number to run.-NO AWARDS OR RESULTS-We will not time the race so you are responsible for timing yourself.  A clock will be at the finish line. PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS NOT A SANCTIONED RACE.  YOU CANNOT REPRESENT YOUR SCHOOL IN ANY WAY- YOU CANNOT RIDE WITH THE TEAM ON THE BUS AND YOU CANNOT WEAR A SCHOOL UNIFORM.  ANYONE THAT DOES SO IS IN VIOLATION OF THE SC HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE RULES.

Timing Chips
Timing will be done by CKET Timing Company. Shoe chips will be provided for each athlete. Chips must be secured to the athletes’ shoes using the provided zip (electrical) tie. These will be removed after the finish line. Please tell your athletes to make sure that they are removed before leaving the finish area. Please bring all unused chips or chips from runners who do not finish to the scoring area. There will be a $25 charge for each chip that is not returned.
                                                   

Number of Runners: The maximum number of runners per school who will be allowed to race will be seven. Only submit seven runners for the State Qualifying Meet. You will be allowed to make exchanges up to 15 minutes before the start of your race using the names that were submitted on your eligibility list provided they have participated in at least two meets during regular season. The form in your packet must be completed.

Be sure to enter under the correct meet. 
If you are a 5A school, enter the 5A Upper State Qualifier 
If you are a 4A school, enter the 4A Upper State Qualifier. 
If you are a 3A school enter the 3A Upper State Qualifier
ALERT !!!!!!! Registration for the State Qualifier must be submitted by 11:59 Sunday, October 23, 2015. Schools that register the runner(s) after the deadline may be fined $100. If you have problems registering, contact Ed Boehmke at eboehmke@greenville.k12.sc.us. OR Eric Cummings at ercummin@greenville.k12.sc.us .If you are unable to reach Ed or Eric, email Nessie Harris at nharris@schsl.org. This is to be done prior to the deadline. Don’t wait until the last minute.
Reminder: Coaches should remember that all governing rules apply when it comes to uniforms and conduct. Violation of the rules will result in disqualification. Please review Rule 9, Section 6 & 7 of the NFHS Track & Field and Cross Country Rule Book. Uniforms must match exactly and be school issued for cross country (no football or basketball jerseys or shorts, etc.) Undergarments that are exposed and above the knee do not have to match. Undergarments that go below the knee must be of a solid color and match any others on the team that wear them. Only prescription sunglasses, with a doctor’s note, may be worn. Headbands are allowed provided the logo is smaller than 4 square inches. However, hats may not be worn.

After the Qualifying Meet you MUST go to the online entry page and submit up to 7 entries for each of your teams that qualified or any individuals from your school that qualified. Qualifying does NOT automatically enter you into the State Championships. Entry into the State Meet will be on carolinaxc.com. DO NOT enter the meet until after the qualifying meets. MAKE SURE THAT YOU ENTER THE CORRECT CLASSIFICATION.




NO PETS PLEASE
Team tents can be set up in the visiting stands (closest to school, underneath the stands on either side or outside the football field fence.  Please do not put any tents in the home stands so that spectators can view the race.  Coaches please advise your parents and fans that the BEST place to view the races is on the upper level of the home stands.  NO ONE is allowed on the football fields at Woodmont for any reason (except officials).

THERE WILL BE A $5.00 PARKING FEE FOR EVERY VEHICLE (EXCEPT BUSES).

I-85 SOUTH: Take I-85 S towards Atlanta. Get off at Greenwood (Hwy 25 South) exit. Turn right onto Augusta Road (Bus. 25). Continue 10 miles through Moonville and past Greenville Memorial Gardens. Turn left at the next red light onto Sandy Springs Road then left onto West Georgia Rd. School is on the right.

I-385 SOUTH: Take I-385 S to Georgia Road exit in Simpsonville. Turn right onto Georgia Road. Go about 4 miles until road forks. Bear to the right onto West Georgia Road. School is on the left.

I-385 SOUTH (TOLL ROAD): Take I-385 to I-185 (Toll Road). Get off at Greenwood (Hwy 25 South) exit. Continue through Moonville and past Greenville Memorial Gardens. Turn left at the next red light onto Sandy Springs Road then left onto West Georgia Road. School is on the right.

DOWNTOWN: From Downtown Greenville, take I-185 (Toll Road) South towards Columbia. Take the Hwy. 25 exit South towards Greenwood. Go through Moonville and past Greenville Memorial Gardens. Turn Left at the next red light onto Sandy Springs Rd. then leftt onto West Georgia Road. School is on the right.

FOUNTAIN INN: From Fountain Inn, take Hwy 418 all the way to Hwy 25 (Augusta Road). Turn right onto Hwy 25. You will pass Ellen Woodside Elementary School on the left. Go another 3 miles and turn right on West Georgia Rd. School is on the right.

I-85 NORTH FROM ANDERSON: Take I-85 North towards Greenville. Get off at the Hwy. 86, Piedmont/Easley exit (Exit 35). Turn right towards Piedmont. Take Hwy. 86 approximately 8 miles to Hwy. 25 (Augusta Road). Cross Hwy. 25 then turn left at the next stop sign onto West Georgia Road. School is on the right.
