2018 Mt. Pleasant Track Club Javelin Invitational
Mt. Pleasant Track Club will host a javelin-exclusive competition on May 5th, 2019 for youth athletes. Because competitions for South Carolina javelin throwers are so scarce, we endeavour to provide more opportunities for throwers.

Park West Recreation Complex
1251 Park West Boulevard
Mount Pleasant, SC 29466
Facility: The competition will be held on a 30m grass runway at the Park West Recreation Facility. Javelin spikes are recommended.
Implements: Javelins will be provided, though athletes may elect to supply their own (subject to inspection).
Format: All athletes will receive three preliminary attempts. The top eight throwers in each division will advance to the finals and receive three more attempts. Finals will be conducted immediately after preliminaries.
Rules: The competition will be governed by USATF competition rules.
Results: Results will be published on mptrackclub.com, Athletic.net, and SCRunners.com.
