Meet Information
Schedule:
Races will start promptly at the times listed. Sunset is at 6:47, for athlete safety we need to finish the final race before this time!
Mixed JV 4:45 (No Athlete Limit, 40 minute max time)
Varsity Girls 5:30 (7 Athletes)
Varsity Boys 6:10 (7 Athletes)
Awards 6:45 (In Stadium)
Parking:
Bus Parking will be right next to the band field. Only busses will be permitted to park in that area.
Spectator Parking. All spectators will need to park in the student parking lot. Parking will be $5 per car. Due to Covid Safety Measures, we will require exact change for parking!
Course:
The Course is the same course as the pre-region meet course. A small adjustment has been made to the starting line (Slightly to the left if you are looking to the map). There is no change in total distance.
The Course will be marked with spray paint, cones, and low cut grass.
The course is open to spectators provided they stay 6 feet away from the course at all times. Spectators are also expected to social distance
The Start Finish Line field is off limits to anyone who is not an Athlete, Coach, or Official.
Awards:
To provide for social distancing, the awards ceremony will take place in the LHS Stadium. Teams will be invited to sit on the track, Spectators will sit in the home stands. The awards ceremony will take place on the football field.
The Winner of Each Varsity Race will be named the Individual Region Cross Country Champion, and the Region Cross Country Athlete of the Year
The top ten athletes in each varsity race will be named to the All-Region Team
The top three male and female athletes from the JV race will receive recognition at the awards ceremony.
