Lakelands Invitational - September 25, 2021

AT THE OASIS FARM OF CONNIE MAXWELL CHILDRENS HOME (GREENWOOD)

Schedule:

• JV Girls (Limit 14) - 8:50 am

• Varsity Girls (Limit 10) - 9:35 am

• Varsity Boys (Limit 10) - 10:20 am

• JV Boys (7th - 9th Grade) - 10:50 am

• JV Boys (10th - 12th Grade) - 11:30 am

• Schools are allowed a total of 24 combined entries for the JV Boys races.

COVID-19 Considerations:

• There will be entry limits on the JV races. Girls will be allowed 14, boys will be allowed 24.

• JV boys will be split into two races.

• We will not have an awards ceremony at the conclusion of the meet. Medals will be handed out at the finish line. Team trophies will be delivered to coaches.

Awards:

• Trophies given to top team in each varsity race.

• Medals given to top 10 in Varsity Races, top 5 in JV Races.

Entry Submission and Fees:

• Entry Fee is $100 total for boys/girls team. DUE BY SEPTEMBER 21, 2021.

• Entries through scrunners.com.

• Entries are due by September 19, 2021.

Spectator Admission:

• Admission cost will be $10 per car.

• Tickets must be purchased online at EmeraldAthletics.com

• The ticket portal will open no later than September 19, 2021.

• The course is all grass. This well-marked course is also mostly flat. The course is striped white with orange cones on both sides for the entirety of the course.

• The meet will be held at the Oasis Farm at Connie Maxwell Childrens Home:

• 50 Jenkins Spring Rd., Greenwood, SC, 29646

• Directions from Emerald High School: (1) Take a right out of the parking lot. (2) Drive through the next traffic light. (3) Cross the bridge over the railyard. (4) Take the first left after crossing the bridge.

Meet and Course Records

Parking:

• All buses will park in one of several fields near the course. A parking attendant will direct you to the appropriate area. 

Special Considerations:

Since we are guests of Connie Maxwell, please be considerate in the following areas:

• Pick up all trash.

• Instruct your runners to have shirts on at all times.
