Dear Coach,

You are invited to participate in the Beaufort Track Classic on April 28, 2021. The Classic will

begin at 4:00 pm. There will be a coaches meeting at 3:30.

45th Beaufort Track Classic - April 28, 2021 the events are: 100/110m high hurdles,

400m intermediate hurdles, 100m, 200, 400m, 800m, 1600m, 3200m, 4 x 100m relay, 4 x

400m relay, 4 x 800m relay, plus all field events. Entries are due by 12pm on 04/26/21.

o Awards: Medals for the top three finishers. A team trophy for men and women

will be given and a plaque for Outstanding Track and Outstanding Field

performers (men and women) will be given.

o Entry Fee $85 per team or $150 for both teams (Girls and Boys) $15 per event

for individual.

o

Complementary lunches will be provided for two head coaches and four assistant coaches and a medical

tent with an Athletic Trainer will be present.

South Carolina uniform policy requires us to wear two pieces; therefore, athletes wearing singlets

are required to wear shorts over them. Please make sure that adhere to this rule.

The Beaufort Track Classic is excited to announce the addition of Interscholastic Unified Track &

Field events this year. Schools who have partnered with their respective Special Olympics state programs

to start Interscholastic Unified Track teams for the 2019 season are welcome to enter those Unified teams

for competition. The Unified Track events will include 100-meter race, 4x100-meter race and Shot put.

*Unified Sports is an innovative approach to using sports activities as a means towards socialinclusion and athlete leadership, with teams being comprised of students with and withoutintellectual disabilities. Interscholastic Unified Track teams practice alongside the varsity teamsand compete in any track event where other Unified teams are participating.
