There will be a $5.00 admission fee for all spectators.
General Information:
1. National Federation Rules will be followed.
2. Each school will be allowed three athletes per event.
3. Prelims will be held in the 100/110 Hurdles, 100 meter and 200 meter sprints. The winner of each heat and the next fastest 4 competitors will advance to the finals.
4. Sections will be run in the 400m and the 400 hurdles against time.
5. Scoring will be 10-8-6-4-2-1 for all events.
6. Ribbons to the top six places will be awarded. Ribbons may be picked up at the end of the meet. No individual presentation will be done during the meet.
7. All non-working coaches and team members not warming up are asked to stay in the stands and out of the infield. All warm-ups will be done on the football fields.
8. Throwing implements will be chosen by event officials prior to the event. All implements that are chosen may be used by any athlete.
9. Park all team buses in the student parking lot. Park at the end of the lot farthest from the school.
10. Only ¼” pyramid spikes are allowed.
11. Coaches’ meeting at 4:30 in the press-box. Scratches only !!
12. Pole Vault will begin at 9’ for the boys and 6’ for the girls. High Jump 4’2”and 5’4”. Continuing Flights will be used.
13. Shot, Disc, LJ, TJ competitors will be given 4 attempts. The athletes will be flighted.
14. In the 800, there will be two sections if there are more than 16 entries.
