Meet Information
Welcome to the 3rd ANNUAL James Island Charter High School Distance and Throws Festival! No Entry Fee!!! For your scheduling purposes, this "meet" is considered a pre-season scrimmage (no entry fee, no awards)
This year, we are adding Pole Vault to the Event list. We will use the "Five Alive" competition format for this meet to keep the event moving efficiently.

Both Running and Field Events will begin at 10:00am. A final time schedule will be posted once the meet is seeded (we will run ahead of schedule by no more than 10 minutes). The entry deadline will be Wednesday, February 18th at 8:00pm
General admission of $10 at the gate.
Running Events (Girls followed by Boys)
3200m Run (max 4 entries per gender)
800m Run (max 5 entries per gender)
ELITE 800m Run (top 8 FASTEST seeds verifiable in MileSplit from either the 2024 indoor or 2023 outdoor season)
Middle School 1600m Run (max 2 entries per gender)
Freshman 1600m Run (max 2 entries per gender)
1600m Run (max 5 entries per gender)
ELITE 1600m Run (top 16 FASTEST seeds verifiable in MileSplit from either the 2024 indoor or 2023 outdoor season)
Co-Ed 4x400m Relay (2 boys, 2 girls (in any order)..max 4 entries per school)

Throwing Events (max 5 entries per gender):
Boys Shot, Boys Javelin, Girls Discus will throw FIRST!
***Everyone will get 1 mark, then minimum standards will need to be reached for a valid throw
Boys Shot - 12m, Boys Discus - 34m, Boys Javelin - 35m
Girls Shot - 8.5m, Girls Discus - 24m, Girls Javelin - 25m
