Coastal Carolina Invitational 2011

Crystal Burnick won the 1500-meter run while Amanda Seigworth and Allison Smith ran NCAA provisional qualifying times in the 400-meter hurdles to lead the Slippery Rock University women’s outdoor track and field team at this weekend’s Coastal Carolina Invitational.

The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville track and field teams followed a record-breaking Friday with another strong day in the Coastal Carolina Invitational finale Saturday.

The Slippery Rock University men’s outdoor track and field team competed at the Coastal Carolina Invitational in Conway, S.C. this weekend and finished the event with a total of 18 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying marks.

Day one of the annual Coastal Carolina Invitational saw the Chanticleer track & field team tally three first place finishes in the 31 team field.
