Longtime coach Jim Kilbreth was honored Saturday during the Low Country Tri-County Meet of Champions during a surprise ceremony where meet directors named the boys 4x800-meter relay after him.
When the SCISA state track meet ends on May 3 at Heathwood Hall in Columbia, the Cyclones will have their first coaching change in 15 years. Hugh Knight, the Cyclones’ head cross-country coach since 2003, will take over the track and field team, as well.

In front of nearly 50,000 people at Franklin Field, South Carolina won two championships at the 120th Penn Relays.
