Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?
Taco Bell Classic for track. Biggest crowd by far, all of the cheering pushes ALL of the athletes to the next level

What was your greatest accomplishment?
Making Stratford varsity my first year of cross country and cutting nearly eight off my time once my football and baseball careers ended.

If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running/track and field career in high school?
I would most defiantly have run cross country and track all four years of high school. Seeing how much I improved just in one year opened my eyes to what I could have been if I would have cross country and track over baseball and football.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
In general, just going out and getting the miles in, proving the people wrong who thought I wouldn't make it in cross country/track. Once I dipped below the 18-minute mark, all the people who didn't believe in me had nothing to say.

What will you miss the most?
My team. We were probably the closest friends who got to hang out every single day and enjoy a sport we all loved.

What advice you would give to younger athletes?
Do not let people tell you can't. Use people who think you can't as motivation to go out every day and become better at running!

What influence has your coach had with respect to your performance and overall life goals?
Coach Dave and Coach Sutherland always believed in me and gave me the little confidence I needed to become successful in our great sport

What are your college plans?
I will be attending Newberry College on a cross country scholarship.

Who would you like to say thank you to?
My family and all of those who gave me motivation to go out and become as fast as I could. I wouldn't be attending a college to run without them.
