Olympic gold medalist Frank Shorter to attend SCSDB Eye Opener

1972 Olympic gold medalist Frank Shorter will attending the SCSDB Eye Opener meet at The Roger Milliken Center Sept. 6 and 7, meet management told scrunners.com.

Shorter is scheduled to speak Friday night at Spartanburg Day School. Admission is free and will be available at the course Saturday to sign autographs and talk with runners. 

Shorter last spoke in Greenville during the 2007 Furman Invitational.
