The South Carolina Track and Cross Country Coaches Association announced a course change for the 2020 Bob Jenkins SCTCCCA Coaches Classic for cross country.
The meet is moving in 2020 to the Eye Opener venue, The Roger Milliken Research Center.
The letter to coaches is below.
Coaches,
The SCTCCCA Board met virtually at the end of last week, and after discussing with officials at the site, we are excited to announce that the 2020 Bob Jenkins Coaches Classic Cross Country Meet will be held at Milliken in Spartanburg on October 10, 2020. The Milliken facility is a well-established course that will have no trouble accommodating the large numbers of athletes and spectators that we regularly get for Coaches Classic. We are excited about this partnership with Milliken, and looking forward to having a great meet this fall. As a side note, the Coaches Classic XC Meet will not be at the location of the State Championship this year. The SCHSL is the group that will secure a location for the State Championship, and we are sure they will announce this location once a decision is made.
