What does it mean to be named to the Shrine Bowl Run team and help the hospital?
It is an honor and I am grateful to be a part of this special tradition. It means a lot to me to help the children at the hospital. 


What did you hear about the Shrine Bowl Run before this year? 
Before this year, I always heard about the Shrine Bowl though the seniors on my team.



What do you hope to experience during the event?
I hope to learn more about Shriners Hospital and get to know the other runners in South Carolina.


How are you preparing to run with a football?
I haven't prepared to run with a football, but I have ran while holding my water bottle before, but not for longer than a half mile.

How would you rate your senior season? 
I would rate my senior season a 9/10. I broke 18 and I learned how to run smarter.

What future goals do you have? 
My goals this year include breaking five in the 1600 and 11 in the 3200.

Have you made the decision to compete at the next level? Please explain. 
Yes, I have committed to Anderson University to continue my athletic and academic career. Go Trojans!



How did you get involved with the sport and when?
I got involved with running when I was very young, racing fun run 5Ks with my family. I competed through the Without Limits program and then went to run with J.L. Mann starting my seventh grade year.

Do you have any relation or know someone that has attended the Shriners Hospital?
No.

How have you seen the sport change in the state? Please explain.
Throughout my six years of running, the times have become faster. 

What was your motivation for your final XC season? 
My motivation for my final XC season was to show myself what I was capable of and to finish off my senior year strong. 

If there is one thing in the world you could do, what would it be and why?
I would love to go on a western trip with horseback riding.
