SCHSL 4A is at Richland Northeast. Class AA at Spring Valley. The final day is Saturday with AAAAA - Division 1 at Spring Valley and SCHSL 3A at Richland Northeast. Saturday starts at 9 a.m.
Day two races and events to watch
Ethan Moody in the boys hurdles - AAAA. Moody has S.C. no. 1 in 400-meter hurdles and S.C. no. 2 in 110-meter hurdles.
- Watch Jaxon Jerabek in the AAAA boys pole vault. Jerabek of Wren is S.C. no. 2 in the event.
- May River girls have a seed time under 10 minutes in the 4x800-meter relay.
- The top three entries in the AAAA boys 200-meter dash are seeeded until 22.50 seconds. Caleb Stephan of Beaufort is the top seed (22.76).

The season went by fast - at least for our senior editor. Here's a quick look at some events to watch over the Thursday. Stay tuned for more coverage throughout the weekend.
Class AAAAA - Division II is at Spring Valley Thursday. Class A is at Richland Northeast Thursday.
Both meets are slated for a 5 p.m. start time.
Boys 100-meter dash: Myrtle Beach has the top three seeds in the boys 100-meter dash for AAAAA - Division II. Tyree Cauthen, a junior, leads the event with a 10.62 last weekend. Cauthen is ranked 11th in South Carolina.
Boys 5A boys 200-meter dash: The top three are seeded under 22 seconds in AAAAA - Division II. Jayden Wilson of Westwood is first (21.64). Wilson is a sophomore. Cauthen is seeded second.
Boys 800-meter run: Jackson Wyatt Eastside of Eastside leads the top seven in the field under two minutes in 5A Division II. Jackson has a 1:52.55 seed time (S.C. no. 3).
Girls 4x400: Hillcrest (4:02) leads three teams under 4:10 in the 4x400-meter relay. Blythewood (5A D1 - Saturday at Spring Valley) has the top time in South Carolina. Rankings.
Girls shot put: Eastside (AAAAA - DII) senior Hannah Hoffman has the top seed mark of 11.99m. Destinee Vereen of North Myrtle Beach is listed second in the performance list. Hoffman is has the top mark in South Carolina shot put rankings. Hoffman also is entered in the discus throw with the top mark (43.53m). Hoffman is S.C. no. 2 in the discus (46.83m).
Brittney Waller (J.L. Mann) is the discus state meet record holder (49.17m).
