Dorman sophomore cross country Greyson Price is this week's MileSplit SC boys cross country future star.
Price won the Cavalier Classic, a Dorman-hosted meet, Sept. 27 with a personal best 16:24 (69th in S.C., 8th sophomores).
The Cavalier opened the 2025 cross country season at the WNC Carnival (16th, 17:11) and finished 117th in the Eye Opener International Boys 5K in 17:22 (117th).
"Greyson has been a key contributor to our program since middle school, and as a sophomore, he has really stepped up as our top runner. Winning the Cavalier Classic Invitational was a reflection of his talent and work ethic, and I'm excited to see how he continues to grow as both a runner and a leader for our team." - Jeff Buys, Dorman boys cross country coach
Price has outdoor track and field personal bests of 2:11 (800-meter run), 4:40 (1600-meter run) and 9:48 (3200-meter run).
Next up for Dorman cross country is Wendy's Invitational Oct. 4 in Charlotte, North Carolina on the Larry McAfee Cross Country at McAlpine Park.
